Daar is 'ie dan! Specs waren al eerder bekend . Goed, nog maar eens voor de mensen die ze misschien niet zo direct weten te staan:

Synth Engine:
Sound Sources are two ultra-stable analog VCOs. Parameters for the VCOs are:
- Osc. 1 Octave: 16’, 8’, 4’, 2’
- Osc. 1 Wave: Continuously variable from triangle through saw and square to skinny pulse.
- Osc. 1 Level
- Glide Rate
- Osc. 1 2 Sync On/Off
- Osc. 2 Frequency
- Osc. 2 Octave: 16’, 8’, 4’, 2’
- Osc. 2 Wave: Continuously variable from triangle through saw and square to skinny pulse.
- Osc. 2 Level
- Fine Tune (for both Oscillators, located at the bottom left of the panel)

Sound Modifiers include a single VCLPF: 24 dB /Oct Moog Ladder filter, with filter Overload control and a single Output VCA. Filter parameters are:
Cutoff / Resonance
Kb. Control Amount (how much the Key CV modulates the Filter)
Filter Env. Amount (how much +/- the filter envelope modulates the filter)
Overload
An Envelope Generator section provides two ADSR EGRs: one to modulate the Filter (Filter EGR) and one to modulate the VCA (Volume EGR). For each EGR, the parameters are:
Attack / Decay / Sustain / Release

The Modulation section contains a 4-waveform LFO, and a 1x1 Mod Buss with 6 possible mod sources and 4 possible destinations. Its parameters are:
LFO Rate
Mod Source: (LFO triangle, LFO square, LFO sawtooth, LFO ramp, Filt. EGR, and Osc. 2
Mod Amount (the amount of modulation w/ the mod wheel all the way forward)
Mod Destination (Pitch, Osc. 2, Filter, Wave)

The User Interface (UI) section is described in the UI spec, below the LCD and UI controls are the following:

To the right of the front panel is the Output section. There is a Master Volume control, an Output On/Off switch, a Headphone Volume control, and a headphone output jack (1/4” TRS)

The side of the instrument houses the I/O of the instrument.

Basic Editing of sounds
Sound editing of continuous parameters (like Filter Cutoff) is done from the front panel by enabling a parameter with its switch (its LED becomes illuminated), and then adjusting its value control. There are 4 value controls, one for each section: Modulation, Oscillators, Filter, and Envelopes. Each is surrounded by a ring of 15 LEDs that show approximately the stored or edited value of the current parameter. The value controls are analog, and when a parameter is activated, the analog control signal is switched to directly control that parameter (RAC™ or Real Analog Control). For each section, only one continuous parameter can be activated at a time for editing. For parameters that have multiple possibilities (such as Mod Source) pressing that switch advances through the possible Mod sources. For On/Off type switches like Osc. Sync, the LEDs are On when that parameter is on or Off when the parameter is off.

ik heb me er nog niet echt in verdiept, maar een 'tribute edition'??
betekent dat, dat ze bij moog hebben zitten brainstormen hoe ze met het probleem van bobs dood moesten omgaan, nu hij niet meer kon tekenen op een signature edition, en ze toch wat extra cash wilden binnenharken van die idioten die meer uit willeng even voor een bijzondere moog?! of ben ik nu weer erg cynisch.
ik krijg er in ieder geval een beetje naar gevoel bij.

de synth ziet er goed uit, als die net zo klinkt...

Het zal misschien wel aan mij liggen, maar ik vind 'm enorm lelijk. Hopen dat dan maar lekker klinkt, he?

Ik ben er nog niet helemaal uit of-ie nou oerlelijk is of niet... Die achterkant ziet er in ieder geval niet uit, zeker niet met dat 'handgeschreven' "Bob Moog" erop (het is geen condoleanceregister, toch?). Ik vraag me af hoe die 'continuously variable' oscs klinken als je aan 'wave' draait!

Ik ben er nog niet helemaal uit of-ie nou oerlelijk is of niet...

nog eens gekeken en ik ben het met je eens. die achterkant is niks, ook zonder handtekening, van de zijlanten weet ik het ook nog niet.het panel vind ik wel erg mooi en strak. toetsenbord ook, goede zwart/wit verdeling.

uiteindelijk valt of staat het toch bij de sound.
ik heb geen technich verstand maar heb wel gemerkt dat de ene 'real analog'de andere niet is. anders kon alesis ook nooit 16 multitimbrale real analog voices verkopen voor een hap minder dan die ene analoge voice van moog, bv.
de vraag is of deze moog net zo real analog is als de voyager (van de nieuwe analoge synths die ik heb gehoord nog steeds de dikste) of toch meer een compromis.
en als die net als de voyager klinkt, tja.

die waveform is leuk, het is sowieso meer dan schakelen.
je kan nu naar de zaag en pulse draaien/schakelen, maar alles ertussenin kom je ook tegen. een klein beetje lfo modulatie op de waveform is ook echt lekker.
z uit mijn hoofd heeft de voyager het, de eerste mam mb33 (!) en vast nog wel meer, maar die schieten me nu niet te binnen. oja: de micromoog, daar had ik het leren kennen!

Ik vind hem wel mooi, maar vraag me hoe je een ADSR edit met maar 1 knop? Per onderdeel ofzo? Verder kan ik wel leven met het gemis aan knoppen, maar dan moet de prijs van de non-tribute wel een stuk lager liggen!!

De achterkant vind ik er echt niet uitzien.. van voren is het beter te doen (gelukkig ben ik een borsten iemand )

wat zit iedereen toch te miemelen over die knoppen.. als je een vette bak hebt hoef je niet zoveel te draaien om t interessant te houden
een vette sound is een vette sound.. een hand aan je wheels en een hand aan je toetsen en go
ik vind m er vet uit zien.. en als ie ook nog vet klinkt wacht ik op een 2e handsje
