Since 2002, Moog Music has been producing the Minimoog Voyager, an all analog performance synthesizer incorporating virtually all of the functions of the original Minimoog synthesizer, and a number of new features that bring makes this the Minimoog for the 21st Century. The Voyager has been received enthusiastically by musicians and critics, garnering awards from Keyboard Magazine, Future Music Magazine, Music Tech Magazine, Mix Magazine, and most recently the 2003 Editor's Choice award from Electronic Musician Magazine.
Moog Music celebrates the 50th year of Bob Moog's contributions to our industry with the Minimoog Voyager Anniversary Edition, featuring a black cabinet and front panel and electric blue back-lit legends and pitch and mod wheels. The total effect is stunning and will add style and panache to any musician's stage presence.
The Anniversary Edition comes loaded with presets supplied by such musical luminaries as Printz Board, James Lumb, Don Preston, Fred Wreck, Patrick Moraz, Charlie Clouser, Darrell Diaz, Keith Emerson, Herbie Hancock, Chad Hugo, Geoffrey Keezer, Frank Lucas, Jamie Muhoberac, Bernie Worrell, Roger Manning, Jr., and of course, Bob Moog.
The Voyager Anniversary Edition made its debut at the 2004 Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA to the dropped jaws of synthesizer enthusiasts.
