Initializing all memory.
Ik heb een Kurzweil K2500 RS + KDFX , nu boot de K2500RS op met
"Initializing all memory "
voorbij Initializing all memory is![OK dan :okdan: :okdan:](https://www.synthforum.nl/core/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I recently flew with my k2500rs and when I landed it said low batt.
I changed the batteries and for the first several times I turned it
on it would read a different voltage level and also initialize all
memory. More recently the low batt message has gone away but it's
still initializing itself almost every time I turn it on. Anyone
else had this happen?
I just acquired a 2500XS, and I decided to transfer my KDFX option from
my K2500R to the K2500XS. I followed the installation instructions meticulously,
and after installing the new appropriate operating system and ROM objects, and
after running the system, each time I power up, the unit goes through the lengthy p
rocess of initializing. Everything else (including the KDFX) works. I know that
this sort of repeated initializing on power up typically happens when the
battery voltage is low, but I'm not getting a low battery voltage message,
and the batteries are new and fully charged. What could the problem be? One
problem I can think of that would cause this would be a bad connection from
my battery box, but if that were the case, wouldn't I get a low battery
voltage message? Another possiblity that occurs to me is that the scanner
is bad. Any other ideas and possible solutions?
It should be noted that this problem could have existed even before I
installed the KDFX option. I didn't power this unit on more than once
before installing the KDFX, so I really don't know for sure.
Alvast bedankt![Smilie :) :)](https://www.synthforum.nl/core/images/smilies/smile.gif)
