Hi! What would you say the synths are on this record. New Edition- Can You Stand The Rain 1988. Im assuming Roland D50 and Yamaha DX7 but what else? and how do you guys think they were processed in terms of effects and stuff. i love the sounds but i cant get close, basically every thought when hearing this song and sound is very much appreciated! thanks

There indeed is a whole lot of DX7 (probably even a TX802 given the “fullness” of the DX7 sounds) and the strings are probably D50 or maybe even Korg M1. For the rest a whole lot of reverb on everything, probably AMS RMX16 or Lexicon 224X on the drums and high frequencies boosted
