Halverwege de jaren negentig maakte hij zijn eerste optreden tijdens een KX-afterparty in 2B, de gekraakte linnenfabriek naast de Effenaar. Kort daarna verscheen hij als resident DJ achter de draaitafels bij Zodiak Commune, waar hij niet alleen de bekende Acid-piepjes onder de naald stak, maar ook als geen ander met de botte Tekno-bijl durfde te hanteren. Sinds 2004 leidt hij onder de naam U-Niks ook zijn eigen underground Tekno-feesten, waarmee hij locaties als de Effenaar, Area51, TAC, Dynamo en the Hall of Fame op hun grondvesten laat schudden met gratis partyhelden van gerenommeerde geluidssystemen als Zinloos Geluid, Acid Anonymous, D -Struct, Mononom en Z-bom.

21 years of DJ experience in all kinds of Techno, Acid and Tekno. Specialized in how to know the crowd keep on dancing with each of his unique storytelling DJ sets.
Owner of Tekno Sucks Records sublabels Biotope Archives (tekno) and Morta Black Recordings (techno). Also released 33 records over the last 6 years and more is yet to come.

DJ d=p+cer, a former resident DJ of Zodiak Commune (2003-2019), known for his energetic pounding uptempo techno-acid sets, will be bringing a record case full of memories tonight.

Live act Solid Decay uit Eindhoven opgericht in 2000.
Begonnen op illegale raves in en om Eindhoven en doorgegroeid naar het club en festival circuit met optredens op onderandere Extrema, Awakenings, Paradiso.
Ook kwamen er verschillende releases uit op labels als Lessimorecordings en op hun eigen label Common Good.
In 2011 werd de stekker eruit getrokken maar nu begon het toch weer te kriebelen en hebben de heren weer een nieuwe set met onvervalste rauwe duistere techno met een dikke groove voorbereid voor Zodiak Commune.

𝐁𝐈𝐀𝐌 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄
Classical compositions and roaring guitars have created a boost somewhere in the musical heart of BIAM, which in 1992 flicked the switch of an old MSX computer and inspired him to create the first Mellow and Hardcore House tracks by himself. The MSX was followed by the Fasttracker, but the real flow of musical thought patches came when he started to connect the Korg Electribes and 303 clone x0xb0x to his soul. The computer disappeared into a distant corner of his subconscious and made room for genuine synthesizers and drum machines.

In 1993 DJ Zodiak had the wild idea following a birthday party to organize parties under the name Zodiak Commune. But who could had ever imagined that Zodiak Commune would become a household name in the underground circuit in no time and that this status would still stand strong over eighteen years later? As founder of Zodiak Commune and host of Kortsluiting in de Effenaar in Eindhoven, Zodiak is held jointly responsible for the second generation of Acid and Electro parties in the Netherlands, from the underground oriented Acid Rain parties in squats to the more club oriented Acid Virus, and last but not least the legendary Liquid Foundation parties at the Kolpinghuis in Nijmegen.

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐋𝐄
No matter what music he plays, it contains triggering kicks, an addictive groove, mean acid lines, sinister soundscapes, bittersweet synths, or all of the above. Essential to this is that the ingredients have enough space to play their own role in creating the right atmosphere.

𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐁
Started of in the mid nineties. Richards’s interest for Underground Techno was triggered by the Acid scène at that time. Soon he was to be found behind the decks and managed to work his way up in the (illegal) Underground- and Club Techno scène. Known as DJ Dilemma he performed for almost twenty years. Mostly loved for his broad interpretation of the word Techno and lively performances. 10 years ago Dilemma has changed his name to Klanklab. This is his former producer name and used for several similar named parties. Klanklab is about Techno with a little touch of acid. Resident for zodiak commune est. 2006

𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓
DJ Saint has his roots anchored in the Punk-New Wave scene from the early-80s, after which he widened his horizon in the direction of electronic music.
Beside being a resident of the Zodiak Commune, he is also running the organisation "Nachtopvang" together with UMX labelowner Paulus8 , focussing on serious underground Electro - Techno and Industrial

𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋
Rick Angel began to play in 1992, inspired by the Hotmix radio show of DJ Ference. Soon, life was not imaginable anymore without Acid and Techno and he started playing his mixes at the local youth center and on his own birthdays. In 1995 this is where he came into contact with DJ Zodiak, the founder of Zodiak Commune, who invited him to perform at one of the parties in the Eindhoven Pillenfabriek. Since then Zodiak Commune did not let Rick Angel leave and so he was part of legendary parties such as Acid Rain and Liquid Foundation. In 2000, Rick Angel began his own series of TechNoNonsense evenings in the (old) Effenaar, a cycle of 5 years including other heroes like Jeff Mills, Mike Dearborn and Johannes Heil.


𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐓
DJ Lamot is one of those guys back from the days that the Acid just had began to become sour. Already in 1989, the Acid virus grabbed him and after a year he found his favorite spot behind the crappy pick-ups of his grandfather. Looking for the often forgotten roots of contemporary dance music he expanded his vinyl collection in 1992 by making a big catch at the Smoke & Water Damage Store for less than 50 Guilder cents per record. A year later he appeared behind the decks at Zodiak Commune, where he always stayed as a handyman, VJ, but most of all as one of the most eccentric resident DJs of Zodiak Commune with its own unique blend of Oldskool Acid House, Ambient and Acid Trance
