Virus Powercore 2.0.1.158 public beta

Zo, had me hier 6 maanden geleden ofzo aangemeld op zoek naar petitie schrijvers om de (buggy) Virus Powercore te laten fixen die totaal werd genegeerd door zowel TC als Access.

Tis niet te geloven maar ze hebben een public beta online gezet!

Voor wie 'm heeft en de problemen kent, kun je 'm testen of je bugs idd zijn verholpen. Eventuele bugs kunnen nog gemeld worden.
Deze beta werkt alleen op 2nd gen ivm het copy protection system.

Ja had de 2.0.1.158 public beta update tijdje geleden geinstalleerd, dit zijn de verbeteringen:

Stereo version
We have included a new stereo version of the Virus. It requires significantly less bandwidth and proves especially useful for power users working with multiple instances of the plug-in.

Program changes
The new version also introduces program changes officially.

Timing
Version 2.0 improves the timing of arpeggiator, LFO and any other component synced to clock.

Crackling
It targets issues which might lead to crackling, especially when automation is being used.

Hanging notes
Multiple issues that might result in hanging or stuck notes have been addressed.

Graphical issues
All known graphical issues have been addresed.

This upgrade is free for all Virus PowerCore users.


En zie net dat er weer een nieuwe public beta update is :-) met de volgende fixes:

Improved latency report
Virus PowerCore did report the wrong latency to the host (fixed).
Among other things, this improves the performance of the arp.

Note: Depending on the host and other things, you will notice a jitter of up to 200 samples. For best results when printing to audio, use offline bouncing.

"Could not create RAM Banks folder"
Users experienced that the RAM banks could not be created (fixed).

Crash bug
A crash bug could occur on specific hosts. For instance, in some situations old projects that made use of the Virus wouldn't open in Ableton Live (fixed).
